The fit and finish of the mug is excellent, i'm not real sure about how sturdy the handles are but I guess time will tell. I'm very picky about the design of things, particularly ceramics as that is an area I have first hand knowledge of its creation.
I ordered a great wave mug which was also nice but one area where the mug i'm reviewing now outshines the other is the lid fits with minimal slop that would allow it to drift whether the filter is in it or not. Again as I mentioned in that review there is a way to improve this so the lid won't shift or slide without more extreme movements. It's stable enough for desk use but not for hand holding or car use.
Bottom line: Beautiful mug, very functional but lid design needs some tweaking for use outside the home. I would order it again, and am considering gifting a few to friends.

The mugs are stunning. 110% of expectations met. Quality is outstanding. We make a lot of fresh teas from the garden and they are just perfect for us. Unfortunately one of the strainers was damaged on arrival, despite lots of bubble wrap and every effort made to keep them safe. The company were amazing to deal with and promptly sent out replacements in record time. Coffee made in it is much better than keurig/traditional coffee makers and weight is great. Plus it looks great! But it takes a LONG time to make a full cup. I definitely think it needs to be larger. Those are the 2 downsides that takes it from “Love it” to only “Like it”.

I love the Nepal cup. One of the reasons I bought it was because of the strainer and the beautiful lid. So I was heartbroken when I accidentally shattered the lid - I had put it on a shelf we don't use a lot because my husband tends to break things - lovely man, but kind of clumsy. So, naturally, it was me that grabbed it awkwardly so that the lid flew off and smashed on the bench. Apart from that it's a gorgeous thing and I love using it. Can you please tell me how much it would cost to replace the lid only?

I love the shape of the mug in my hand and I love the built in tea strainer. I've also noticed that it keeps my tea a lot hotter than normal mugs since I usually keep the lid on between sips so that the drink stays warm. It's a really sleek, elegant mug and I always get a ton of compliments on it too.

It surprised me how lightweight it is. Can make a single cup of tea or coffee without turning on a machine.

The craftsmanship is on point! Very durable and great quality. My only critique would be that it’s on the small side. The pictures from the ads that drew me in make it look larger. It holds about 12oz with tea steeper. Would buy another one if there was a larger option!
